Summer Work & Travel combines work experience, learning and cultural exchange for active, full-time university students. The US Department of State program connects people from different cultures.

Travel under the J-1 category during the May–September season. Your actual duration and dates depend on your offer and documentation.

Is this program right for you?

University student

Active, full-time enrollment at a recognized university.

Age 18 to 28

Confirm your eligibility and participation requirements with the Alliance team.

Conversational English

Ability to communicate in workplace situations, assessed during the interview.

Prepare your identity card, class schedule and transcript. The published interview fee is DOP 2,000.
